On October 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with veteran BJP leader LK Advani at his residence to celebrate a significant milestone: 25 years of his governance journey. This meeting highlighted Advani's extensive public service and his influence on India's development over the decades.
Modi took to social media to express his gratitude for Advani's contributions, stating, "His decades of public service and contribution to our national life have left a lasting imprint." Advani, who served as Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister during the NDA government, has been a pivotal figure in shaping modern Indian politics.
The day was marked by various events across the country, including 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas' and torch rallies organized by BJP leaders. These initiatives are part of the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan', celebrating Modi's 25 years in public governance and reinforcing the party's commitment to the vision of 'Viksit Bharat 2047'. Union Minister JP Nadda led the campaign in Uttar Pradesh, while Uttarakhand's Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also participated in the celebrations.
In Assam, BJP President Dilip Saikia emphasized the nationwide outreach of the celebrations, stating, "It is a record of Prime Minister Narendra Modi who has completed 25 years of seva service to the motherland." He noted that events were held at all district headquarters, showcasing the party's dedication to national development.
As Modi reflects on his journey that began as Gujarat's Chief Minister in 2001, he has transitioned to national leadership since becoming Prime Minister in 2014. The ongoing celebrations signify a collective pledge among BJP workers and supporters to strive for a developed India by 2047, aligning with Modi's vision for the country.
