BJP Plans Nationwide Padyatras to Counter Opposition Rally on Nov 1
In response to the upcoming 'INDIA' alliance rally, BJP leaders will engage in foot marches across various states to address voter list concerns.
BJP will conduct padyatras on November 1 to counter the opposition's rally in Delhi.
Senior leaders, including Union Ministers, will lead marches in multiple states.
The campaign aims to raise awareness about electoral integrity and democratic values.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has outlined a strategic plan to respond to the 'INDIA' alliance rally scheduled for November 1 at Delhi's Ramlila Maidan, focusing on the voter list revision issue. As part of a broader nationwide initiative, the party intends to mobilize its senior leaders to engage directly with the public through foot marches known as 'padyatras'.
On the same day as the opposition's demonstration, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will spearhead a padyatra in Lucknow, while Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will lead a similar effort in Shimla. Following this, both leaders will participate in a padyatra in Hyderabad the next day, and on November 5, they will be joined by Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini in Karnal.
The campaign is designed to address allegations of 'vote theft' related to the SIR process. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and other senior Union ministers are expected to lead these marches, aiming to clarify the BJP's stance on the integrity of electoral rolls and the SSR process. Additionally, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami will also be at the forefront of these initiatives.
BJP leader Nitin Nabin has been tasked with overseeing the campaign, which aims to organize padyatras at every district headquarters, targeting 10,000 participants for each event. The coordination of the 'Save Democracy, End Anarchy' campaign has been assigned to prominent party figures including Tarun Chugh, Bhupender Yadav, Harish Dwivedi, and Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Through these marches, the BJP seeks to enhance public understanding of the electoral process and reinforce the importance of democratic values in the face of opposition criticism. The party's proactive approach reflects its commitment to addressing voter concerns and maintaining electoral integrity as the political landscape heats up ahead of upcoming elections.
