Technocrats Achieves 75% Capacity Utilization in H1 FY27
Technocrats Plasma Systems reports significant growth with 75% capacity utilization and Maharashtra contributing 79.5% of its revenue.
Technocrats' capacity utilization increased to 75% from 50.1% in FY26.
Maharashtra accounted for Rs 82.371 crore of Technocrats' Rs 103.551 crore revenue in H1 FY27.
The company served 95 customers and maintained 17 dealers in H1 FY27.
In the first half of FY27, Technocrats Plasma Systems reported a notable capacity utilization rate of approximately 75%, a significant increase from the previous year's figure of 50.1%. This uptick reflects the company's enhanced operational efficiency and strategic focus on production planning. The revenue generated during this period reached Rs 103.551 crore, with Maharashtra being the primary contributor, accounting for 79.5% of total revenues.
Historically, Technocrats has seen fluctuations in its revenue distribution across various states. In FY26, Maharashtra's contribution was 59.8%, which has now risen to 79.5% in H1 FY27. This increase indicates a growing reliance on the Maharashtra market, which has seen its revenue rise from Rs 78.502 crore in FY26 to Rs 82.371 crore in the current half-year. Other states, including Gujarat, have seen a decline in their share, highlighting a shift in Technocrats' market dynamics.
The company reported serving 95 customers in H1 FY27, maintaining its dealer network at 17, unchanged from the previous fiscal year. This stability in dealer count, which has increased from nine in FY24, suggests a strategic approach to expanding its market presence. The revenue from other states combined accounted for only 20.5% of the total, with Gujarat contributing a mere 5.3% of the revenue, down from 16.1% in FY26.
The implications of these figures are significant for Technocrats and the broader market landscape. The heavy reliance on Maharashtra could pose risks if market conditions change. However, the company's focus on expanding its dealer network and exploring export opportunities in regions such as South Asia and Africa could mitigate these risks and diversify its revenue streams. The management has indicated plans to enhance its product offerings, including higher-end plasma systems and automation-ready solutions, which may further influence its market position.
Looking ahead, Technocrats is set to continue its expansion efforts, particularly in enhancing its dealer and service support across emerging industrial clusters. The company has not disclosed specific targets for capacity expansion or revenue diversification, but the ongoing developments in its product offerings and market exploration will be closely monitored by stakeholders as they unfold.
