The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has announced a revised schedule for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for the NEET PG 2026. Choice filling for candidates seeking MD and MS admissions in government and private medical colleges will commence on November 2 and continue until November 4. This update comes as part of the ongoing efforts to streamline the admission process for postgraduate medical courses in the state.

The first selection list for the Maharashtra NEET PG 2026 CAP round 1 is set to be published on November 5. This list will determine the allocation of seats for aspiring medical students based on their preferences submitted during the choice filling period. Additionally, the CET Cell has made it clear that candidates can submit grievances regarding the process until November 1, but only if they provide the necessary supporting documents.

On November 2, the CET Cell will also release the final provisional state merit list along with the in-service state merit list and seat matrix. Candidates are advised to verify the fees associated with their chosen quotas before completing their online preference forms. The choice filling window will close at 11:59 PM on November 4, giving candidates a limited timeframe to finalize their selections.

Once the seat allocation is completed, those who secure MD, MS, and DNG seats must report to their respective colleges between November 6 and 10 by 5:30 PM. It is essential for students to bring all original documents and pay the required fees, as well as complete the status retention form. The CET Cell has specified that cheques will only be accepted on holidays and must be replaced with a demand draft on the next working day, ensuring a smooth financial transaction process for the students.

Looking ahead, the CET Cell will announce the schedule for subsequent rounds of the Maharashtra NEET PG 2026 CAP in due course. Candidates are encouraged to stay informed about any updates to ensure they do not miss critical deadlines in the admission process.
