The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has officially released the timetable for the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations for the year 2027. The theory examinations are set to commence on February 8, 2027, and will run until March 11, 2027, providing students ample time to prepare and revise for their upcoming tests.
In addition to the theory exams, practical and oral assessments will take place from January 20 to February 6, 2027. The schedule includes significant dates such as the Physics exam on February 12, Chemistry on February 16, Mathematics and Statistics on February 20, and Biology on February 23. This structured timetable is designed to help students manage their study plans effectively.
For students also preparing for the Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) in 2027, the timetable is particularly beneficial. With the board exam dates now available, students can strategically plan their preparation to balance both the HSC exams and the MHT CET, which emphasizes Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology.
The release of the timetable allows students to focus on completing their syllabus and reinforcing their understanding of core concepts. It is recommended that students engage in regular practice of descriptive answers and objective questions, especially as the MHT CET will test speed and accuracy through multiple-choice questions. Incorporating numerical problems and chapter-wise MCQs into their daily study routine can enhance their readiness for both exams.
As the HSC examinations conclude on March 11, students can shift their focus entirely to MHT CET preparation. They are encouraged to undertake full-length mock tests and review previous years' papers to maximize their performance in the entrance exam. The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell is expected to announce the MHT CET examination dates and registration details soon, and students should keep an eye on the official CET Cell portal for updates.
