In his speech, Fadnavis underscored the importance of desilting village ponds, repairing check dams, and promoting rainwater harvesting as critical components of the initiative. He emphasized that ensuring access to drinking water should be prioritized, alongside providing sufficient water resources for livestock and the upcoming rabi crop season. The Chief Minister also pledged support for farmers facing challenges due to adverse weather conditions, including assistance with fodder availability.
