The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell has officially released the selection list for the third stray vacancy round of the NEET UG 2026 counselling process. This announcement allows candidates who participated in the online counselling for undergraduate medical and dental programs to verify their seat allotment status through the official portal at medical2026.mahacet.org.
This third round is crucial for filling any remaining vacant seats in MBBS and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) courses within the Maharashtra state counselling framework. Candidates are urged to check the selection list carefully to see if they have been allotted a seat. Those who have received an allotment are required to physically report to their designated colleges and complete the necessary admission formalities by the deadline of October 26, 2026, as outlined in the updated schedule.
To access the selection list, candidates should navigate to the official counselling website and locate the link for the stray vacancy round 3 results. After selecting the appropriate link, they can download the PDF document containing the selection details. It is essential for candidates to search for their names or application numbers within the document to confirm their allotment status.
Candidates who find their names on the list must ensure they understand the admission instructions provided by both the CET Cell and the respective colleges. Missing the reporting and admission deadlines could jeopardize their chances of securing the allotted seat, making it imperative to adhere to all outlined procedures.
Looking ahead, candidates are advised to keep a copy of the selection list for their records and to stay informed about any further instructions from the CET Cell. The timely completion of admission processes is critical, and candidates should prepare for any upcoming steps in their educational journey.
