On November 3, 2026, GREW Solar announced a strategic partnership with ASK Engineering Solutions, based in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, to enhance the distribution of its solar modules across Maharashtra. This collaboration is aimed at improving the availability of Domestic Content Requirement (DCR)-compliant products in the region, thereby supporting the growing demand for solar energy solutions.
The partnership is expected to leverage ASK Engineering's deep understanding of the local market and its established relationships with installers and project developers. Hiten Parekh, Chief Business Officer at GREW Solar, emphasized that this collaboration would allow the company to strengthen its presence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and surrounding areas, which is crucial as solar adoption increases in various sectors, including commercial and industrial.
GREW Solar is part of the Chiripal Group and has already deployed over 3 GW of solar modules across India. The company operates a 6.5 GW module manufacturing facility in Dudu, Rajasthan, where it produces advanced N-type TOPCon G12R modules. With plans to increase its manufacturing capacity to 11 GW, GREW Solar is also establishing an 8 GW solar PV cell manufacturing facility in Narmadapuram, Madhya Pradesh, and aims to build an integrated solar manufacturing value chain.
This partnership not only enhances GREW Solar's distribution capabilities but also aligns with the company's broader strategy to expand its channel ecosystem in key markets. By improving access to domestically manufactured solar modules, GREW Solar aims to meet the rising demand for renewable energy solutions in Maharashtra and beyond.
Looking ahead, GREW Solar is set to play a significant role in the solar energy landscape of India, with ambitious plans for expansion and increased production capacity. The collaboration with ASK Engineering marks a crucial step in this direction, ensuring that the company can effectively meet the needs of its customers as the market for solar energy continues to grow.
