On October 13, 2026, Safexpress, a prominent player in India's logistics sector, officially opened its new Logistics Park in Nagpur, Maharashtra. This facility, strategically situated near Amravati Road on NH-53, marks a pivotal development in the enhancement of the region's logistics infrastructure, with senior officials from Safexpress present at the inauguration ceremony.
The Logistics Park covers an impressive area of 11 lakh square feet and is designed to cater to the increasing warehousing and distribution needs of local businesses. Equipped with advanced third-party logistics (3PL) capabilities, the facility aims to streamline supply chain operations, ensuring faster and more reliable service delivery across the region.
One of the key features of the park is its modern cross-dock infrastructure, which allows for the simultaneous handling of over 261 vehicles, significantly enhancing operational efficiency. The design includes a column-free span exceeding 105 feet, facilitating the smooth movement of goods. Additionally, the 16-foot-wide cantilever sheds ensure that loading and unloading can occur uninterrupted, regardless of weather conditions.
