In a shocking incident in Nagpur, a minor disagreement over road space escalated into a violent stabbing on Monday afternoon, resulting in serious injuries to 36-year-old Nitin Bais. The altercation occurred around 2:30 PM on Kharbi Road, near the Payal Wine Shop, where Bais was with friends when the accused, Kaleem Khan Pathan, confronted them and demanded they move aside.

The situation quickly deteriorated into a heated argument between Pathan and Bais's friend, Paras Chaudhary. As tensions rose, Pathan allegedly retrieved a knife from his vehicle and approached Chaudhary. When Bais intervened to protect his friend, he was threatened by Pathan before being stabbed twice in the chest and abdomen.

Emergency responders rushed Bais to the Trauma Centre at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he is currently receiving treatment for his critical injuries. Following the incident, Wathoda police registered a case against Pathan, who fled the scene and is now being actively pursued by law enforcement.

Authorities have expressed concern regarding the attack, particularly given that Pathan has a troubling history with over 40 criminal cases filed against him in Nagpur. Police are diligently investigating the incident, gathering evidence, and working to apprehend the suspect as community fears grow over safety in the area.

As the investigation unfolds, local residents are on high alert, and police are urging anyone with information about Pathan's whereabouts to come forward. The case highlights ongoing issues of violence and public safety in urban areas, prompting calls for increased vigilance and community support.
