Volvo EX90 Electric SUV Launched at ₹1.26 Crore

Volvo Car India has officially introduced the EX90, its all-electric flagship SUV, with an ex-showroom price starting at ₹1.26 crore. This launch marks a significant milestone for the brand as the EX90 is built on Volvo's innovative 800V SPA-2 platform, showcasing the company's commitment to sustainable luxury.

The EX90 is designed as a six-seater vehicle equipped with a powerful dual-motor system that generates 450 BHP and 60 Nm of torque. The SUV is powered by a robust 106 kWh battery pack, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. Additionally, it boasts a claimed range of 625 km on the WLTP cycle, making it a competitive option in the electric vehicle market.

In terms of features, the Volvo EX90 comes with bidirectional charging capabilities, ensuring versatility for users. The vehicle is also equipped with a comprehensive safety package and a luxurious, feature-rich interior designed to enhance the driving experience. Customers can choose from six exterior color options, including Denim Blue, Sand Dune, and Onyx Black.

The launch of the EX90 is expected to have a significant impact on the electric vehicle landscape in India, particularly in the luxury segment. The introductory pricing, valid until December 31, 2026, includes an 11 kW wall box charger and a three-year service package, enhancing the overall value proposition for potential buyers.

Looking ahead, customer deliveries for the EX90 are scheduled to commence in January 2027. Additionally, Volvo dealerships are offering an attractive 65% buyback option after three years, further incentivizing customers to invest in this cutting-edge electric SUV.
