In a recent statement, US President Donald Trump announced his intention to contact Elon Musk regarding ongoing restrictions on Ukraine's access to the Starshield communications system, developed by Musk's SpaceX. During a press briefing at the White House, Trump expressed confidence that the matter was settled but acknowledged he would intervene if problems continued. He stated, "If there is a problem, I will get it straightened out," emphasizing his commitment to ensuring Ukraine's access to vital communication resources.
When questioned about whether he had already reached out to Musk, Trump confirmed he had not yet spoken to the billionaire but indicated he might do so if the restrictions were not lifted. He noted, "I have not spoken to him. I might have to, but I have not. I've heard it was fixed, but if it's not, I'll speak to him."
