In a startling development regarding the recent shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff, sources have revealed that he was not the original target of the attackers. The incident occurred on Sunday evening in Juhu, Mumbai, when three shooters fired multiple rounds at Shroff's vehicle as he was leaving a football match.

According to reports, the shooters, identified as Hrithik alias Roshan from Bihar and two others from Haryana, initially planned to assassinate a different high-profile individual. They had scouted locations frequented by this target but ultimately shifted their focus to Shroff after realizing they could not access the intended victim. This change in target was influenced by social media activity, as the shooters noted that Shroff lacked police protection, making him a more accessible target.

The attackers monitored Shroff's movements through Instagram, which allowed them to plan their assault. They fired seven shots at his car, intending to shoot more, but a gun malfunction prevented them from doing so. Fortunately, Shroff and his driver managed to escape with injuries. The Lawrence Bishnoi gang later claimed responsibility for the attack, asserting that Shroff had been warned to sever ties with actor Salman Khan but failed to comply.

Following the incident, Maharashtra's Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Shroff and condemned the attack, promising that the government would take strong measures against such acts of violence. Shinde emphasized that no form of intimidation would be tolerated in Mumbai, highlighting the seriousness of the situation, especially given that Shroff's driver was injured during the shooting.

As investigations continue, authorities are looking into the financial aspects of the attack, with reports suggesting that the shooters were paid an advance of Rs 50,000 and promised further compensation for their actions. The incident has raised concerns about the safety of public figures in the film industry and the influence of organized crime in Bollywood.
