Three Arrested in Tiger Shroff Shooting Incident in Kota

On October 18, 2026, three suspects were detained in Kota, Rajasthan, following a shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The suspects were apprehended from the Pune-Jaipur Superfast Express train shortly after the attack, which occurred on a busy Sunday evening. The police confirmed that among the detained individuals, one is a minor, while the others are aged 18 and 22.
The Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Raj Tilak Roshan, reported that two of the suspects hail from Haryana, and one is from Bihar. They allegedly fired five to six rounds at Shroff's car, which was captured on video. Fortunately, the actor escaped with minor injuries, while his driver and a bystander sustained injuries during the incident.
The police have taken custody of the suspects and are transporting them to Mumbai for further interrogation. DCP Roshan mentioned that no prior threats had been reported against Shroff, and the motive for the shooting is still under investigation. The motorcycle used in the crime was discovered in Andheri, Mumbai, although no firearms have been recovered yet.
The Mumbai Police acted swiftly, coordinating with law enforcement agencies in Delhi, Gujarat, and Rajasthan to track the suspects. Within 15 hours of the shooting, special teams intercepted the train at Kota junction, leading to the suspects' arrest. A case has been registered at the Juhu police station under various sections, including attempted murder and violations of the Arms Act.
The investigation has now been transferred to the Anti-Extortion Cell (AEC) of the Crime Branch. Authorities are also looking into social media claims where individuals allegedly took responsibility for the shooting. The police are exploring all potential leads, including the possibility of external conspirators being involved in the attack.
