Murder Case Filed Against Shraddha Dubey Following Boyfriend's Death

A murder investigation has been launched in Lucknow following the death of 28-year-old Shiva Sharma, who reportedly fell from the fourth floor of an apartment belonging to his girlfriend, Shraddha Dubey, a well-known makeup artist and model. The incident occurred last week, prompting a police inquiry into the circumstances surrounding his death.
Shiva's mother, Ranjana Sharma, has accused Dubey of threatening to release compromising videos of her son and has alleged that he suffered physical abuse during their relationship. The police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) naming Dubey, her sister Rashmi, a driver named Danish, and an associate identified as Adil, among others, as suspects in the case. Both Dubey and her sister are currently evading arrest.
Authorities have conducted raids at multiple locations in Lucknow, Sitapur, and Raebareli in an effort to locate the suspects. Hazratganj Station House Officer Vikram Singh indicated that the police are gathering information about their contacts and potential hideouts, with plans to extend their search to Nepal if necessary. An acquaintance of Dubey, Rizwan, has reportedly provided information that he drove the sisters to Rupaidiha near the Nepal border, raising concerns about their escape.
The investigation is delving into various aspects of the relationship between Shiva and Shraddha, including discussions about marriage and prior criminal incidents. Reports suggest that the couple met at a club around six months ago, and Shiva had been residing in Dubey's flat for approximately four months. Tensions reportedly escalated as discussions about their future intensified, with Shiva's family claiming that Dubey had threatened to implicate him in a theft case involving jewelry valued at around ₹6 lakh.
As the investigation unfolds, the police are focused on understanding the timeline of events leading up to Shiva's death and the nature of the disputes that may have contributed to the tragic incident. The family is seeking justice and clarity regarding the circumstances that led to the young man's untimely demise.
