Mumbai Police have successfully apprehended three individuals linked to the attempted shooting of actor Tiger Shroff, which occurred on Saturday night. The assailants, who had planned to escape to Nepal, were arrested while boarding a train to Delhi. The incident left Shroff unharmed, although his driver and a bystander sustained injuries during the attack.

The arrested suspects include 18-year-old Rehan from Haryana, 22-year-old Hrithik from Bihar, and another 18-year-old named Phool Singh from Rajasthan. Hrithik, who worked as a bike-taxi rider for Rapido, reportedly conducted reconnaissance of Shroff's residence under the guise of a taxi ride. He was positioned close to the scene when the shooting occurred, where two accomplices opened fire on Shroff's vehicle.

Video footage from the incident shows the attackers firing indiscriminately at Shroff's car, with one suspect aiming directly at the seat where Shroff had been seated. Fortunately, the weapon malfunctioned, allowing Shroff to escape and transport his injured driver to the hospital. Following the incident, Rapido stated that the assailant had not been active on their platform since October 14, emphasizing their commitment to safety and cooperation with law enforcement.

The attack has been attributed to Anil Pandit of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, with police confirming that Rehan had connections to a gangster based in the United States. The Mumbai Police detailed their investigative efforts, which included the formation of 20 special teams to track the suspects through fieldwork and technical analysis, leading to their eventual capture in Kota, Rajasthan.

In the aftermath of the shooting, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited Shroff, who was seen with visible injuries. Authorities confirmed that the assailants were not minors and that Shroff had not received any prior threats. The police reported that multiple rounds were fired at the actor's vehicle, raising concerns about the escalating violence targeting public figures in Mumbai.
