Mumbai Court Orders Police Custody for Tiger Shroff Attack Suspects Until October 31

On October 21, 2026, a Magistrate Court in Mumbai ordered the remand of three individuals accused of attacking Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The suspects, identified as Rehan R, Phool Singh from Sonipat, Haryana, and Ritik Kumar from Begusarai, Bihar, were apprehended in Kota, Rajasthan. They are now in police custody until October 31 as investigations continue.
The incident occurred on October 18, when the trio allegedly fired five to six shots at Shroff's car in the upscale Juhu area. Although Shroff escaped without serious injuries, the attack resulted in significant harm to a pedestrian and Shroff's driver. Following the incident, the Mumbai Police initiated a case against the suspects, charging them with attempted murder and violations of the Arms Act.
During the court proceedings, Advocate Satyavrat Joshi, representing one of the accused, disclosed that the police had initially requested a 14-day custody period to investigate the origins of the weapons used in the assault. Furthermore, Joshi mentioned that audio clips related to the case had surfaced on social media, but these are still under investigation by law enforcement.
The police have indicated that the suspects may be linked to a larger criminal syndicate, prompting their request for extended custody. In a related development, the Delhi Police Special Cell has arrested four additional suspects believed to be involved in supplying firearms to the attackers, highlighting the broader implications of this case on public safety and organized crime.
