The Delhi Police were alerted to a fire at the school via a PCR call, prompting officers from the Krishna Nagar police station to respond to the scene, where they found the student in critical condition.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the police recovered various items from the site, including the student's school bag. The crime scene was secured, and a forensic team was summoned to gather evidence. Eyewitness accounts from the victim's elder sister indicated that the girl had been in good spirits earlier that day, having been dropped off at school with her niece. She described her sister as happy and smiling as she entered the school premises.
The sister recounted receiving a distressing call from the school around 12:40 PM, informing her of a serious incident involving her sibling. Fire officer Anoop Singh stated that the cause of the fire had not yet been determined, and one fire tender was dispatched to the location.
