A security check at the Jama Masjid Metro station in New Delhi turned into a tense situation when a passenger attempted to evade security protocols. The incident occurred when the individual suddenly dashed through the metal detector and headed towards the escalator, prompting an immediate response from the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF).

An alert CISF jawan quickly recognized the unusual behavior and pursued the man down the staircase, successfully apprehending him near the platform. This dramatic chase was captured on video and later shared by the CISF on social media, highlighting the swift action taken by security personnel.

Upon searching the passenger's belongings, authorities discovered a semi-solid substance hidden within a stitched section of his undergarment. This discovery raised significant concerns regarding the nature of the substance and the reasons behind the passenger's attempt to flee from security checks. The suspicious item had initially been detected during an X-ray screening of his baggage.

The passenger, who identified himself as a non-resident Indian (NRI) living in Kuala Lumpur, was subsequently handed over to local police along with his belongings for further investigation.
