Honor has introduced the Honor S3, a new pocket-sized e-ink reader, alongside the launch of its Magic 9 series. This innovative device features a 3.68-inch e-ink display and is designed to magnetically attach to the back of compatible smartphones. Retailing at 399 yuan, roughly $60, the S3 is aimed at users who prefer a lightweight reading option that can easily fit into their pockets.
The S3's display boasts a pixel density of 259 PPI and is covered with a high-transparency frosted glass panel, providing a paper-like reading experience. Weighing only 61 grams and measuring 5.6mm in thickness, the device is engineered for comfortable one-handed use during extended reading sessions. Notably, the S3 employs a full-screen single-point touch interface, eliminating the need for physical buttons and allowing users to turn pages with a simple tap.
