Suryakumar Yadav Speaks Out on Shocking Team Drop

Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India's T20 World Cup-winning team, has finally opened up about his unexpected exclusion from the national squad following their triumph earlier this year. The selection committee, led by Ajit Agarkar, opted for Shreyas Iyer as the new captain for upcoming series against Ireland and England, citing Yadav's inconsistent batting form over the past two years as a major factor in their decision.

Despite his disappointment, Yadav expressed understanding of the selectors' perspective, acknowledging that they must have had their reasons for moving forward with a different leadership. He reflected on his time as captain, where India remained unbeaten in series and secured the T20 World Cup on home soil. Yadav emphasized his readiness to return to the team whenever called upon, maintaining a positive outlook on his cricketing future.
