Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Uzbekistan as he prepares for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Upon landing in Tashkent, Modi expressed gratitude for the warm welcome from President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, highlighting the significance of his fourth visit to the country and the growing bilateral relations between India and Uzbekistan.
During his stay, Modi is expected to engage in discussions with Mirziyoyev and participate in a dinner on Saturday. Following these meetings, he will travel to the Kyrgyz Republic for further discussions, including a scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin at the summit.
