During a recent Business Roundtable in Chicago, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman encouraged global investors to establish manufacturing bases and innovation centers in India. She emphasized that India's investment landscape is not confined to a single sector but is characterized by a convergence of growth, talent, and technology, supported by sustained reforms over the past decade.
Sitharaman highlighted the importance of viewing India not just as a market but as a platform for global operations. She pointed out that India's Digital Public Infrastructure has created scalable platforms for businesses, while the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund offers a robust opportunity for global investors. With a focus on advanced technologies and manufacturing capabilities, India is poised to become a key player in the global supply chain.
