Truzon Clean Energies, previously known as Suntek Energy Systems, has successfully obtained a ₹236 crore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract from Hariom Power & Energy for the development of 72 megawatts (MW) of solar projects in Maharashtra. This announcement was made public recently, highlighting the company's commitment to renewable energy solutions.
The solar projects, which are part of the PM-KUSUM Component C initiative, are strategically located across Hingoli, Latur, Parbhani, and Beed districts. Notably, 15 MW of the total capacity has already been completed, showcasing Truzon's capability in executing large-scale solar projects. The initiative aims to promote solar energy usage in agriculture, thereby supporting farmers and enhancing sustainability.
Truzon is set to manage the entire project lifecycle, which includes design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning. This comprehensive approach ensures that the projects meet the required specifications and operational standards. The anticipated output from these solar installations is around 89.89 million units of electricity annually, which will significantly contribute to the local energy supply.
With its headquarters in Hyderabad, Truzon Clean Energies has established a strong presence in the solar sector, having delivered over 400 MW of solar capacity and completed more than 15,000 installations across various segments, including residential, commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. This latest contract further solidifies its position in the renewable energy market.
Looking ahead, Truzon aims to continue expanding its portfolio in the solar energy sector, with plans for future projects that align with India's renewable energy goals. The successful execution of these projects will not only benefit the company but also contribute to the overall growth of sustainable energy in Maharashtra and beyond.
