Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited has officially opened the Sterling Vanyatara Tadoba in the Chimur region of Maharashtra, enhancing its collection of jungle resorts in India. This new retreat is strategically located near five safari gates of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve, making it an attractive destination for wildlife enthusiasts and travelers seeking a serene escape.
The Vanyatara Tadoba is designed as an intimate 18-key wilderness retreat, emphasizing personal space and a close connection to nature. The accommodations include Indulge Rooms with sit-out areas, Forest Villas with private lawns, and Two-Bedroom Villas that offer both shared and private spaces. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a swimming pool, spa, and various outdoor areas, enhancing their overall experience.
Culinary offerings at the retreat showcase the bold flavors of Vidarbha's traditional Saoji cuisine at The Jungle Table. Additionally, guests can participate in visual storytelling sessions led by naturalists, cultural performances by Gond tribe artists, and enjoy a showcase of Saoji cuisine by local rural communities. Access to safari gates is subject to permits, allowing guests to explore the rich biodiversity of the surrounding area.
Vikram Lalvani, Managing Director & CEO of Sterling Holiday Resorts, emphasized the importance of wildlife and nature-led holidays in their hospitality portfolio. He stated that each forest offers unique landscapes, cultures, and cuisines, making them compelling travel destinations. The Vanyatara Tadoba aims to provide a holistic experience that goes beyond mere wildlife sightings, connecting travelers to the essence of the forest.
With existing properties in Pench and Tipeshwar, the addition of Tadoba allows for the creation of a forest circuit that includes these three distinct wilderness areas. This development presents an opportunity for travelers to embark on a richer journey through Maharashtra's diverse natural landscapes, making it an appealing option for families and wildlife enthusiasts alike.
