The investments are projected to generate around 2.9 lakh jobs, primarily in sectors such as data centres, information technology, and semiconductors. Other notable sectors include energy, cleantech, renewable energy, aerospace, and defence, indicating a diverse approach to economic development in Maharashtra.

During the summit, Chief Minister Fadnavis introduced the 'Invest Maharashtra' platform, designed to position the state as a leading investment hub. He assured potential investors of comprehensive support from the government, including assistance with land acquisition, power supply, infrastructure development, regulatory approvals, and access to skilled workforce.

Fadnavis highlighted the necessity for local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), suppliers, youth, and farmers to benefit from these large-scale investments. He stressed the importance of creating supply-chain opportunities and enhancing skill development initiatives to ensure that the advantages of these investments permeate through the local economy.

The investment proposals have come from various regions, including Nagpur, Nashik, Pune, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Ratnagiri, Palghar, and the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. With a bold target of achieving a $1 trillion economy by 2030, Maharashtra is poised to leverage these investments to foster sustainable growth and development in the coming years.
