Lexus India has officially opened its first Guest Experience Centre (GEC) in Pune on November 5, 2023, marking a pivotal expansion of its retail presence in Maharashtra. This new outlet, established by Bharat Toyota Tsusho Kirloskar Motor Private Limited, is strategically located to enhance customer engagement in the region, providing a direct link to the luxury brand's offerings.

The Pune GEC is part of Lexus's broader strategy to strengthen its footprint in key Indian markets, following the recent openings of similar centres in Ahmedabad and Surat. With existing experience centres in major cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru, the new facility aims to cater to the growing demand for luxury vehicles and electrified mobility solutions in Maharashtra.

At the Pune centre, customers can explore a range of Lexus vehicles and advanced technologies, as well as access an operational Lexus Service Point (LSP). Lexus India currently boasts 19 LSP locations across its network, designed to improve aftersales service and support for vehicle owners, ensuring a comprehensive ownership experience.

In addition to vehicle offerings, Lexus India provides an eight-year or 200,000-km warranty on its vehicles and hybrid batteries, along with a five-year roadside assistance program. These initiatives are part of the brand's commitment to customer satisfaction and support. Furthermore, Lexus has introduced an Assured Buy Back Programme for select models, which includes low EMIs and guaranteed future residual values, enhancing the overall ownership experience.

Looking ahead, Hikaru Ikeuchi, President of Lexus India, emphasized that the Pune centre will play a crucial role in fostering customer relationships and engagement. With plans to expand its network further, Lexus Bharat's Managing Director, Sreenivas Chivikula, confirmed that the company is dedicated to enhancing the guest experience across India, reflecting the brand's commitment to luxury and customer service.
