The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has unveiled a new initiative called 'Vandarshan', offering five distinct wildlife safari packages designed for nature enthusiasts eager to explore Maharashtra's renowned tiger reserves. These packages aim to provide a hassle-free travel experience, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the beauty of wildlife without the burden of planning.

Set to launch on November 19, the Vandarshan safari packages span five days and four nights, incorporating train journeys, hotel accommodations, local transportation, safari arrangements, and meals. The five packages include combinations of the Tadoba-Andhari Tiger Reserve with various other wildlife sanctuaries, such as Umred-Karhandla, Tipeshwar, Navegaon-Nagzira, and Bor, as well as Pench Tiger Reserve.

Travelers will embark on the wildlife safari aboard the Vidarbha Express, with train number 12105 departing from Mumbai every Thursday and returning from Gondia on Sundays via train number 12106. The specific boarding and return stations will vary based on the selected tour package. Each tour includes necessary safari permits, and with limited seating available—six berths in 3AC and six in 2AC—early booking is highly recommended to secure a spot.

This initiative presents an excellent opportunity for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers to explore the diverse ecosystems of Maharashtra's tiger reserves without the stress of organizing logistics. With the starting price set at ₹29,500, interested individuals can find more details and make reservations on the official IRCTC website.

As the launch date approaches, wildlife lovers are encouraged to consider this unique travel experience, which promises to combine adventure with the chance to witness some of India's most majestic wildlife in their natural habitat.
