Initial investigations revealed Tiger Shroff was an 'easy target' after a failed attempt on Salman Khan.

In a significant development, the Delhi Police apprehended four individuals on Tuesday linked to the shooting incident involving Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff. The arrests took place following an incident on October 18, when assailants opened fire on Shroff's vehicle in Mumbai. Fortunately, the actor was unharmed, but his driver and a nearby fan sustained injuries from the gunfire.

The arrested individuals, identified as Kunal (21), Sumit (19), Radha (23), and Babita (23), were taken into custody in Delhi and Sonipat. Authorities have stated that these suspects are accused of providing firearms to the shooters and concealing them. Following their arrest, the Maharashtra Police obtained a three-day transit remand to conduct further investigations in Mumbai.

Earlier, three alleged shooters were detained in Kota, Rajasthan, as part of the ongoing investigation. The police reported that the assailants had initially planned to target another Bollywood star, Salman Khan, but shifted their focus to Shroff, whom they considered a more accessible target. This shift in targets has raised concerns about the safety of high-profile individuals in the film industry.

According to Praveen Kumar Tripathi, DCP of the Special Cell, Kunal, who had recently been released on bail, was introduced to Anil Pandit, a known gangster, through a mutual acquaintance. Kunal allegedly procured a pistol and ammunition under Pandit's direction, and he coordinated the transport of the weapon to Mumbai with the help of Radha and Babita. The police detailed how the weapon was smuggled into the city, culminating in the shooting incident.

The implications of this case extend beyond the immediate arrests, as it highlights the ongoing threat posed by organized crime to public figures. The police have increased security measures around Salman Khan's residence in Bandra, indicating a heightened awareness of potential risks to celebrities. As investigations continue, authorities are focused on dismantling the networks behind these violent acts, with further interrogations and legal proceedings expected in the coming days.
