On October 8, 2026, a delegation from the All India Transport Welfare Association (AITWA), led by National President Shri Ashok Goyal, convened with Maharashtra's Director General of Police, Shri Sadanand Date, in Mumbai. This meeting aimed to express appreciation for the swift action taken by the Maharashtra Police in a recent theft incident in Malegaon, where a significant portion of the stolen materials was recovered promptly.
