Senior Journalist Milind Gaidhane Dies in Wadi Flyover Accident

A tragic incident occurred on Tuesday night when senior journalist Milind Gaidhane, known as Milind Kirti, was killed in a road accident on the Wadi flyover along Amravati Road. The collision happened around 10:45 PM, involving two two-wheelers, one of which was allegedly being driven recklessly.
According to police reports, Aashray Daga was riding his two-wheeler at high speed and in a negligent manner when he collided with Gaidhane's vehicle. The impact resulted in severe injuries for Gaidhane, a Wadi resident, who was later pronounced dead during treatment at a hospital in Sitabuldi. Daga and his pillion rider, Yash, also sustained serious injuries and are currently receiving medical attention.
The accident further escalated as a car, driven by Aditya Khandelwal, was caught in the collision while traveling towards Surabardi. Khandelwal, a 28-year-old from Lakadganj, has filed a complaint with the Wadi police regarding the incident, which has led to an ongoing investigation.
In response to the incident, Wadi police have registered a case against Daga, charging him with causing death through a rash or negligent act, endangering human life through dangerous driving, and causing injuries through negligence. The case also includes provisions under the Motor Vehicles Act concerning dangerous driving. Authorities are currently examining the circumstances surrounding the crash to gather more information.
