During a recent visit to the Nagpur Dall Millers Cluster Pvt. Ltd., MSME Commissioner Prerna Deshbhratar was honored by cluster members for her significant contributions to the proposed Pilot Pulse Protein Facility. This initiative is part of a broader vision to create a Next Generation Pulse Protein Park in Nagpur, aimed at enhancing the local agricultural economy.
The recognition event was attended by notable figures including Shivkumar Muddamwar, Joint Director of the District Industries Centre (DIC), and Sunil Hajare, General Manager. Their presence underscored the importance of government support in fostering innovation within the food processing sector, particularly in the realm of pulse protein production.
The Pilot Pulse Protein Facility is designed to showcase the potential of transforming traditional pulses into high-value protein ingredients. This project is expected to pave the way for the development of next-generation food products, thereby addressing the growing demand for protein-rich alternatives in the market.
The gathering also included several key stakeholders from the industry, such as Manohar Bhojwani, Rajendra Sharma, and Ashok Bansal, among others.
