Arvinda Barsagade's life took a remarkable turn after her father, a former Maoist, surrendered to the police when she was just four months old. Growing up amidst violence in Gadchiroli, Arvinda has emerged as a beacon of hope, now holding a diploma in civil engineering and working as a trainee at Lloyds Metals and Energy's LT Gondwana Skill Hub. Her journey reflects the district's transformation from a history of insurgency to a burgeoning green steel hub, offering new opportunities for local youth.
With support from local police and community leaders, Arvinda navigated her education through challenges, eventually securing a position in a skill development program linked to the region's economic revival.
