Four Men Vandalize MSRTC Bus After Ejecting for Misbehavior

In a troubling incident late Thursday night, four men allegedly vandalized a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) bus by smashing its rear windshield with stones. This occurred around 10 PM near the Mankapur Ring Road signal while the bus was en route from Sitabuldi to Parseoni Fata, originating from the Koradi depot.
Reports indicate that the men were intoxicated and had been causing disturbances for fellow passengers by playing videos loudly on their mobile phones. When other passengers raised objections to their behavior, the four men exited the bus. In a fit of anger, they picked up stones from the roadside and hurled them at the vehicle before fleeing the scene.
The bus, which was being driven by Nikhil Shende with Vaibhav Dhawale serving as the conductor, was reported to the Mankapur police station shortly after the incident. Authorities are currently investigating the matter and have begun reviewing CCTV footage from the bus to identify the individuals involved in the vandalism.
This incident raises concerns about passenger safety and the behavior of individuals under the influence of alcohol in public transport settings. It highlights the challenges faced by transport authorities in maintaining order and ensuring a safe environment for all passengers.
