In Nagpur, former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh and several workers from the NCP (SP) were detained by police on Thursday while participating in a 'Tiranga Motorcycle Rally'. The rally commenced from Samvidhan Chowk and aimed to highlight pressing issues such as local employment opportunities, inflation control, and transparency in government recruitment processes.
As the rally progressed through various checkpoints, it was intercepted at Akashwani Square. Tensions flared as party workers demanded to submit a memorandum to the district administration.
