Ajni Police Rescues Youth from Knife Attack in 3 Minutes

In a rapid response that highlights the effectiveness of emergency services, Ajni police in Nagpur intervened within three minutes of receiving a distress call regarding a knife attack on a local youth. The incident unfolded late at night in the Sant Kabir Nagar area, where police swiftly arrived to ensure the victim's safety and apprehend the suspect.

The emergency call was made around 11:15 PM, alerting the police control room about the attack on Sant Kabir Marg. Officers from the Ajni police station promptly mobilized and reached the scene, where they found Mukul Dhapode, the victim, who had narrowly escaped a potentially fatal assault.

According to reports, Mukul was confronted by Shahbaz Azim Khan, a local resident, who allegedly demanded his mobile phone and cash while brandishing a knife. When Mukul resisted, Khan attempted to stab him, but the victim managed to evade the attack, although the knife did damage his vehicle's seat cover. Following the incident, Mukul immediately contacted the police to report the attack.

The police acted quickly, launching a search for the assailant and successfully apprehending Shahbaz Azim Khan shortly thereafter. Authorities revealed that Khan had a history of preventive actions taken against him and was reportedly struggling with drug addiction. The police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the attack.
