Jio Platforms is on track to launch its initial public offering (IPO) by the end of October, with an enterprise valuation projected to exceed ₹12 trillion (approximately $143-146 billion). This IPO is expected to be the largest public offering in India, estimated at around $3.8 billion, according to sources familiar with the situation.

The company had submitted its draft IPO documents in June and is now preparing to file the final papers with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) during the week starting October 12. Following a series of successful overseas roadshows in locations such as the US, UK, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore, Jio Platforms has garnered significant interest from potential investors, which is expected to support its high valuation.

Jio Platforms, led by Akash Ambani and Isha Ambani, has plans for an anchor round prior to the Dussehra festival, with the public offering likely to open shortly after the festival, potentially before October 23. The company aims to issue up to 27 crore fresh equity shares, representing about 2.9% of its post-issue equity base, as indicated in its draft prospectus.

The IPO comes at a time when India's primary market is witnessing robust activity, with numerous IPOs launched since July 1. Jio Platforms, which encompasses Reliance's digital services, dominates the Indian telecom sector with a 39.29% share in mobile connections and serves over 506 million customers. Additionally, Jio boasts the largest 5G Standalone network outside of China, with 26.85 crore 5G customers as of June 2026.

Looking ahead, the successful launch of the IPO could significantly enhance Jio Platforms' financial standing and expand its operations in various digital sectors, including cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Analysts predict a strong growth trajectory for the company, with profits expected to rise at an annual growth rate of 18% between FY26 and FY30, aligning with the performance of its parent company, Reliance Industries Limited.
